The Needs of Your Audience

Useful content is good, but what are the direct needs of the audience that you’re trying to advertise or market to? Think about that for a moment. If you’re going to publish a site that has a lot of bells and whistles, do the end users really want that? What are the needs of your niche? Think about that as you move forward, and you’re going to end up seeing a lot of things that you can tweak for the better.

Easy To Navigate Pages

One of the biggest hypocrisies that you will see within SEO is this notion that “pop ups” are bad. They’ll tell you that you shouldn’t have them in place, but when you visit some of the “gurus” of SEO, they have these in place. Not only do they have pop ups, they have overlays, and poor loading as well. These are all things you shouldn’t have. You need easy to navigate pages, and information.

Credibility or Authority

At the end of the day, no one is going to trust you if you don’t have some sort of foundation in this field. Credibility, authority, and value all come into play when you think about user experience. If you try to circumvent this, you will end up with a diminished return on your project. You want to make sure that you are posting information that is highly relevant, and is going to be authoritative in nature. If you’re found out to be posting the wrong thing, you are going to end up losing out. This is the crux of user experience modules, that’s for sure.
